This is really funny because it is a very old tech meme that goes back to at least World War II. We usually call it “don’t do that.”

It goes like this:

User: when I hold escape while right clicking between noon and 12:15 on a Tuesday, the window minimizes.

Programmer: don’t do that then. 

The iPhone 4 version:

User: If I hold the iPhone like *this* I lose all of my signal bars.

Steve Jobs: Just avoid holding it that way.
