From Virtual Shackles: This is the hardest part of LA Noire , what really sets it apart: the interrogation system forces you to pay attention and use your head, instead of mindlessly navigating through linear story lines that have basically zero branching. Every interview branches out and affects the outcome, and for you to pass a case with the highest mark (they are rated with one to five stars) you would need to get every clue, hit every question right, etc. Not a game for button mashers or for people that burn through full games in 10 hours. According to UPS , they redesigned their tracking page based on customer feedback. After seeing this, all I can think of is that they have a lot of fucking nerve to claim such a thing. Take a look at this: Let's see... It shows the package on time. Of course it does! And when there's an exception for whatever reason, it will probably say "NEW arrival date is .... and still show it in time." "By end of day" is bullshit because it lets UPS cut down on their workforce and force the remaining drivers in the route to work longer hours. I haven't received a FEDEX package after 5 in almost a year, but UPS keeps showing up as late as 9:00 PM, which is a really long fucking stretch of the "End of day" statement. "Updated" timestamp is a placebo. Of course it will always show a current date/time, just don't expect UPS to poll their database every time you reload the page. How was this project even allowed to be completed in the middle of California 's worst fiscal crisis ever? I don't get it. That's $138,000 per seat . The end result is going to be a jazzy school staffed with the same underpaid staff, attended by the same kids that are not getting the teacher ratios that they deserve, being peddled drugs and weapons on campus , etc. The only real benefit here is that some asshole gets to brag about how LA has an artsy looking public school building. It is almost incomprehensible.  What's the expected life of this school? What's the operating cost of this school over its intended life? Wouldn't this fat wad of cash better be spend sending those 4,200 to private schools?  Can anyone prove that the outcome of this $578 ...
