Testing the Sony DSC-HX9v in a dark room with just that candle. These are handheld macros, the first shot is in Intelligent Auto +, the second shot is in HDR + scene mode.

I got bored waiting for food so I started experimenting with HDR, I had no clue that it would work at Macro distances:    Far from perfect, but still pretty usable.
